How to get the online and chapter 5 update [ Edited ]

I copied this post from the IGN PSP forum from user GigersALIEN, credit goes to him. This is how to get the online and chapter 5 patch to work on your PSP, ive tried it myself and it works. Only problem i had was when the chapter 5 update was on, the game kept freezing. So i only have the online update on and it works fine. My US account is PortPowerPersia and my EU account is Port Persia x, feel free to add me! OK now follow all instructions and you'll be able to play online! Good luck

That's the patch for the North American version which includes both the 5th chapter and infrastructure online mode. Both of these patches were free so this isn't illegal.

Now hook your PSP up to your PC via USB and drag and drop the folder you just downloaded into the GAME folder of your PSP(make sure you have enough room on your memory stick about 70+MB). Then start the game back up and try to access the download section in the game menu. After the message that says you need more memory just hit circle twice to back out and instead of it starting the game over, an installation prompt will appear. Choose yes and it will install.

If you have the European version of Killzone, you’ll have to manually create a directory called UCES00279 in you PSP's GAME folder and move the EBOOT.PBP into it.

Leave CHAPTER5.BIN in UCUS98646 in your PSP's GAME folder.

Now you can play the 5th chapter but more importantly, play the game online.

I just finished the game, er.. chapter 4... after weeks of cursing and swearing at Cobar and Metrac in our company break room (and at home in front of the wife and kids!) Was wondering if I would ever find the download.

Hey all,

Since I was having trouble with the US patch on my EU version of Killzone Liberation (the game didn't recognise my saves anymore since the US patch makes it look after US saves and a Corrupted Data item arrived under my Games list), I searched the internet for the right versions of the patch. I also repacked them so they are easily extractable to the PSP. So here they are:

I copyed the EBOT on UCES00279 folder(EU,but the EBOT.PBP is US) in the PSP->GAME and the UCUS98646(US) Chapter5.BIN in the same location PSP->GAME and its works .But my KZ:Liberation(original UMD not FAKE ISO is EU version)and still works with the US Update,HOW?
