Patrick, only thing about rerouting the audio is that you can potentially lose direction when you turn your head slightly. the sound won't move with you, even though the screen will

^ I'm hearing impaired, I have to wear hearing aids, which don't work that well with the headset, I'll get better sound from rerouting the sound to my home theatre system, other people should be fine with the headphones I guess.

^^ I read a review that discussed the light blockers, seem like the unit I tried didn't have them attached, and it probably didn't have the correct head pad, also I didn't calibrate it to begin with, a staff member with glasses did.

I don't think I'd need to turn my head, I can sit in my favorite chair and keep looking straight ahead, also I haven't got head tracking atm and not planning on using it with a PC. I can only see myself using this with KZ3 ATM, so I'm not sure if I would spend $1199 on something for Killzone only as my projector is great for 2D games and slightly bigger screen with regard to my position away from the wall and the size of the projection on the wall. Still, I'm drooling over the HMZ-T1 regardless.
One thing is for sure, and that's I'm very excited about the future of gaming right now.

Hmmm now I don't feel like playing KZ3 without 3D atm. Anyone have the same feeling at times? The 3D looked so good my 2D doesn't look so flash.

OK, packing up my PS3 and heading down to the local TV store right now... Time to decide whats better... HMZ-T1 or 55-60 inch TV.

Pat... that's a lot of cheese for a piece of new technology. Personally I would wait for a couple years. Even 3D televisions are really not up to par yet - and have about 2 more years to improve.

I wasn't very impressed with the 3D TVs, the HMZ-T1 definitely seems to provide a lot more immersion and a larger screen FOV with less pixellation and no crosstalk or ghosting. I think I need to take one more trip to the city to check the head unit out before I commit the dollars. I tried an LG 55 inch passive LED and a Sony 55 inch active shutter system, the experience was underwhelming compared to the HMZ-T1. Of course the HMZ-T1 was below my expectations however the TV's were even worse. Fair enough if I needed a new TV I'd enjoy the experience and make use of it, but I don't need a new TV but new 3D.
