Any KZ'ers Play EVE online or excited bout DUST 514?

Originally CCP pened in a late 2011 beta followed by a spring 2012 release now it seems the beta will be in the spring (very soon) with a summer 2012 release.

I think they are staying quiet and being intentionally vague on things due to most of the beta keys going to EVE online subscription holders and dont want to many PS3 gamers clammering for them only to be dissapointed when CCP say ''beta keys only for EVE players and a limited number of PSplus testers''.

Hear odd stuff about this game that sounds very complicated here it is i hear you get blue prints of you guns that you can sell normally or in black market? Explain . Also once you dead you then come back as a clone lol but to respawn it cost you money (not real money) explain . I get real time play and stuff but is there something about paying other clans to help you but they can double cross you and take your money and fight for other team. Please help because this is hurting my little brain.

OK i'll try and answer theese questions with the limited info i have.

Blueprints - Pretty much everything in EVE is created by the players this will be the same in DUST all theese things start as blueprints then the EVE players source the material through either mining asteroid belts, exploring wormholes or salvaging wrecked ships after large fleet battles. It will be very similar in DUST, we will obtain the blueprints from the market (or buy for real money from the item mall) then we will have to buy the raw material also from the in game market place (we wont be able to mine coz we have no ships) then we will make the weapons/armours/vehicles through a sort of crafting panel within the game.

About the clones - The story in EVE is that certain talented people are picked out of society then euthanised (killed) and have their consciousness transfered into a machine that stores it and can pass into a clone at any time making the person pretty much immortal this will be the same in DUST so you wont respawn like you do in KZ, every time a clone is destroyed your consciousness needs to be transfered into another clone and clones cost money, you will also lose the armour and weapons he was wearing and they also cost money.

Before each battle you/your corporation will decide how many clones to use in that battle so if your team decide on 20 and the other team decide on 60 your at a major disadvantage.

About the backstabbing and betrayal - This will happen alot, EVE is a sandbox game prettymuch meaning if you can think of it you can do it with very little intervention from the devs, there are whole corporations set up for espionage by infiltrating other corp's and selling there secrets to their enemys so expect this in DUST aswell and when you consider that there will be ''friendly fire'' it could certainly make things more interesting.

Thanks dude im cool with that. Back stabbing sounds fun as in there will be real bad blood out there will ppl falling out down side i guess is if a team screw you over word will get out and ppl will no not trust them lol can't wait
