Any KZ'ers Play EVE online or excited bout DUST 514?

I'm thinking of getting a subscribtion to EVE online in anticipation of DUST to learn more, make alliances with EVE corporations or maybe just earn some ISK so ive got a good start in DUST.

Can any EVE players tell me if they think this is a good idea?

Will i be able to get a beta key for DUST or is it to late?

If your in an EVE corporation, can i join? lol

Or if you just wanna leave any info you have on EVE or DUST it will be welcomed by me.

PS. If you have'nt heard of DUST 514 and you love FPS games look it up, it's gonna be a PS3 exclusive Sci-Fi FPS directly linked to an MMO-RPG called EVE online, the PC gamers will be in there spaceships and us PS3 guys will be the ground troops, the EVE corporations (clans) will pretty much hire us as mercenarys to take over rival corp's planets paying us in (ISK) with which we will use to buy upgrades, there wont be any classes as such, you create your own by mixing and matching gears and creating your own, and much much more.

Another thing i forgot to mention is it will only cost $20 to DL from the PSN store, you wont have to buy a disk and the $20 you spend will be turned into ingame currency so in a sense its F2P (free to play) but i dont think this game will be F2P but P2W (free to play but pay to win) like most F2P games because the marketplace in DUST will be the same marketplace as EVE, with EVE being a subscription game (people pay $15 a month to play it) they will not want DUST players to keep crediting there account over and over devaluing the currency in EVE.

Also it will be on the most powerful dedicated gaming server in the world (Tranquility) so no more of this P2P **bleep**.

No, you only pay $15 a month to play EVE online through a PC

DUST 514 will only cost you a one off payment of $20 to DL from the PSN store, there is no disk.

PC players pay the monthly subscription for genuine game support, regular maintenance of servers, new content, etc, etc, etc, in other words so the game they love dont get ditched by the developers like GG has done to us.

What do you think GG needs to do for us?

[ Edited ]

I have been tracking on Dust 514 for several months now.  However, I am just sticking with the FPS/MMO.  No real interest in the EVE side of the house as it would require upgrading a PC, subscription fee and enduring what I understand will be a pretty steep learning curve to break into the game.

Corporations will exist in Dust and there will be cross linked communications between the two games, so creating alliances with established EVE corps should be easy enough.  Of course as hired Mercs you will have to get results to get top dollar payouts.

The with the low cost of entry, cross platform persistant gameplay and the micro-transaction economic model, Dust 514 has the potential to change console gaming forever!
