Re: 3D support thread

3D works by making your eyes focus at one distance and converge at another which to make it worst is constantly changing.

200,000 years of evolution didn't prepare us for that and i doubt SONY's fiscal year will be long enough to adapt to it.

Re: 3D support thread

Yes it does work with Sony's HMZ T-1 personal 3D viewer. Really really well. Been playing on it for past 2 days. Colours and contrast are phenomenal on this device. Takes a LOT of testing to get the right headset position though.

Re: 3D support thread

I'm still waiting for a call from the sony store for when they have a demo available.  They told me I can bring in my ps3 as they are not really setup for games in the store.

Re: 3D support thread

ask if they can dim the lights when you test it too as the showroom is guaranteed to be far brighter than your living room.

make sure you take the time to adjust the straps properly or the image will be a blurry mess

Re: 3D support thread

Just played a few games with the HMZ-T1 with no HUD or crosshairs...

Unbelievable immersion!  without the distraction of the HUD you really appreciate the game world a lot more.

Got brutal melleed a LOT due to not having any radar at all and , but was so much fun.  Not the best idea during warzone as you have no idea who the assassination target is, or who is carrying the speaker.
