AMEN 'IPumpMyGun!'  If there ever is a KZ4, I would like to think that Sony and GG have enough sense not to tick off whats left of the KZ2 Fans.  Let KZ2 die a natural death.  Don't murder it by killing the servers.  I can't speak for others, but I'll move on when I find a better MP online FPS.  We will all be looking at a next gen console in the near future.  Right now the PS4 has the edge with me.  It wouldn't take a lot to put the X-BOX 720 at the front of my list.  SONY BEWARE!

i think killzone 2 will be around for a while. i just started playing it and i like it a lot. 

but.....

if killzone 4 is like killzone 2 i would probably spend most of my first person shooting time with the new game and new maps.

i am glad i tried killzone 2.

I doubt Sony will let Microsoft make a better console. There's always the chance, but I just don't see it happening. Plus all the developer studios that Sony has bought. Guerrilla even hinted that Avatar Graphics is there goal for KZ4. Scroll to the bottom of there "Creation of KZ3" slide show.

I just started with KZ3, but  I must say that  KZ2 is one of my favorite MP experiences of all time.  The structured carnage, cost to every action taken (even if it was as simple as knowing how to use the weight of a gun to its advantage), the "band of brothers" art style..it really was greatness in its own little universe.  The first Modern Warfare ranks tops of my list for "run and gun" style and map effectiveness, but the weighted system and style of play to KZ2 is unequalled.
