Top Phyruss Snipers

Hello to all,

This is my first post on the killzone 2 message forum.

Killzone 2 is by far my most favourite game, I have played it since 2009 so 3 years. I am a sniper mainly on phyruss.

I am going to give a list of my opinion who the best snipers in the map of phyruss are and later top all round players.

The list of snipers I have put on the list are ones that have given me great battles and often get me lol but they play fair don't cheat don't glitch so (cheaters will not be on list).

1) Yza by far the best sniper does not matter who you are or where you are he will get you.

2) Natural_Beauty01 He deadly a great competitor if you want to get natural you better be on your game.

3) Demonfish  He seems to have retired from the game his style is he move around the map a lot is very fast very accurate one deadly sniper.

4) Speed destroyer

5) toffey01 one of the best of have played against to be safe im best to play on her side.

6) Relentless is a tough accurate sniper and often only gets killed 3 or 4 times in a game.

7) Capblanc is fast accurate scores quick.

8) Gasaxman a good friend he stays put lol he is very hard to get but great sniper.

9) Lukebax has retired from game but will get you any where.

10) Quderv  think should be in the top ten

there are many other great snipers out there but they are not on the list if you they should be on it feel free to add

That is an accurate list. I have an love-hate relationship to you snipers. A good team needs one or two of you, especially on Pyrrhus! 

Yza is the greatest of all snipers, because he also becomes very dynamic and active in missions. Yza, my friend, sometimes when you kill me in close battle, you have done it with the sniper rifle, do you fire it from the hip?

I am a lousy sniper, maybe that would be the next  fun project... well, sometimes its nice to "snipe" with the M4

Good list Jim I don't know all the names there but trust your judgement ( although think you should be on there somewhere )

My top pick from that list would be Gasaxeman he has got me numerous times but was also very helpful to me at the start of my sniper training.

Yeah Gasaxeman & YZA for sure, players that leave you shaking your fist at the TV  can't really recall playing the others apart from Speed destroyer,  although I can only remember him playing other classes (mainly Engy if my memory serves me right.......which it doesn't quite frequently)

I'd just like to add a few others to that list...

mafiaworks...long since retired but cracking sniper.

Gottapee...never moved much but another great shooter.

Our old pal, Skatetilldeathor was pretty good too.

And of course your good self.

Been on much lately?

New guy/girl dark assassin is looking worthy of a mention too.

I'm sure theres a load more i just can't remember, right now.

may i ask how are you people so good with the sniper rifle? I know that I havent been playing as long as you guys, but getting **bleep** handed to me time and time again sometimes gets frusturating

Everyday mate.

I'm no much of a scout, but I do enjoy the "kill chirp" more, after taking time to line up that perfect map- wide headshot.

A lot of the aforementioned players ARE scouts all the time, rarely using any other class.

Whatever floats your boat, as they say.

Try to memorise the places most commonly used by the scouts and TRY to adapt your playing style to avoid them from spotting and marking you. It's their ability to mark that makes a good scout an Yza_ like beast.

Oh, and TRY to learn to 'no scope'  too.  Fire at a wall to get a better idea of where the bullet will hit (it's just left of the end of the VC32 barrel)

Practice and you'll soon become deadly like these folks in our lists.

Cheers for the response.

They are mainly guys and girls who I have battled with over the past 3 years there are many great snipers out there who should be on there list. Von and minners can hold there own as regards to sniping all though they are a lot better at other classes then me im terrible with other weapons.

That's what makes KZ2 a great game is that you find a class that suits.

Pemker have had great matches with you in there past so maybe you will make the all round list which would be fun to do. There are a lot of great players out there who have given me grief and there not just snipers.

I may be back soon Von I have been playing others games but great to see KZ2 is still going after 3 years.

Hy Jimbo, thanks for the kind words. I think u belong on that list aswell since u are a part of the Pyrrhus sniper family just as any other on the list lol, and one of the most memorable snipers too.  
its a shame most have left really, especially demon, we were unstoppable if on the same team lol.

lol yea i do use hipfire (aka no-scoping) with the sniper, but only on really short range, a good tip would be to crouch right before u fire, it slightly improves your accuracy.
I sometimes try to quickscope as well but thats really tricky in this game, so i usually end up killing that someone with the m4
