Cause it only took them about a month to design it. I still remember how unbalanced the assault modes were. Man Helghast vs ISA on Park terminal won 90% of the time. Same thing with Isa ISA winning 90% of the time on Beach Head. And why on earth would they allow your player model to be spawned into the game before you were even there? For that matter why even allow such a broken and useless spawn system to exist? GG still did a fairly good job despite the problems and with the time restrictions. One thing that I always questioned them about was the A.I. Really I mean they didn't even program them to use half the weapons.
