Dust514 Announces FTP on PS3

This news just made my day! Just wondering what all the KZ'ers think of this and how many of you are now planning to transition over when the game comes out?

How the devs gonna make their $$? DLC? I'm so unsure about this game... i never been so confused about a new game coming out as this one lol. I think i will give it a try for sure, hope its good.

Never mind. I see that we will be paying for game credits that you can use to buy stuff for your character, even weapons, but they say none will give you an unfair advantage. Sounds good to me

Gonna play, but i still prefer BF3 and KZ3. There is something that i don't like in that game.

Dunno if this is good news or bad news, as excited about DUST as i am my main concern from day 1 is if this will be F2P but P2W (free to play but pay to win) like most F2P MMOS's out there like Shaiya, Aika, etc.

On P2W games you cant compete with spoilt no life teenagers with daddys credit card unless your willing to literally spend thousands, the worst thing about it is also theese little no life geeks think there uber aswell.

I really hope CCP have put some genuine mechanics in place so this dose'nt happen but atleast with it being 100% F2P now if it is unbalanced in that sense we have'nt outlayed anything and can walk away and it has'nt cost us anything.

Hopefully it wont be 2 much like MAG. If u have 2 pay 2 unlock better equipment in game its gonna be unfair 2 ppl who cant afford 2 spend loads on a game like Boldon83 says. Does look interesting tho...

they already said different variations of standard weapons and vanity items

no OP weapons and nothing u are being forced to pay for in order to advance

Il try it when it comes out,we'll see if it makes me give up kz3...and again 3 is definitely better than 2 except for radec academy.
