We posted this on the Blog yesterday:
Here at Guerrilla Games we have been busy fixing bugs and adding features based on your continued feedback. The good news is we’re now readying our next patch to go live later next week. It is currently undergoing extensive testing and we’ll confirm the exact time and date of release once we have it
This is the first of a number of patches that we have in mind. If you can't find your favorite fix on this list it is most probably in one of the next patches. If you want an idea on some of the other stuff that are coming in future patches, check out this Blog post: End of Open Beta . We will keep you updated on other fixes as soon as we can.
Below is a detailed list of all of the fixes and changes included in the patch:
Killzone 3 - Patch 1.04 Changes and New functionality:
Network
- Lag fixes and fixes for network errors 10002, 8001 and 8013
Gameplay
- Players now have more stamina by default. Sprint length is increased but the recharge timer has been adjusted to compensate
- Mortally wounded players no longer have collision. Alive players should now be able to traverse the levels without getting stuck on mortally wounded players
- Medic's revive cool-down reduced from 25 to 10 seconds
- Increased range from where friendly players can be revived - player can be revived from 20 meters now
- Guerrilla Warfare games now last 15 minutes and it takes 100 kills instead of 50 to win
Performance
- Improvements to party creation server load
Menu
- Show envelope icon to indicate that player has received message
- Rewards panel in post game screen now auto-scrolls
- Botzone is now paused when player goes to start menu
- Single click squad invite
- Enhanced idle detection code in menu, the player isn’t spawned if he’s still pressing buttons
Security
- Several security, anti hack and cheat fixes
Killzone 3 – Patch 1.04 Bug Fixes
Stability
- Fix for an occasional crash bug when in the Credits screen and transitioning straight into Multiplayer via a Invite
- Fix for potential hang when players migrate between maps
Gameplay
- Player can retain crouched collision after deploying jetpack
- The Assassination Executioner medals only count Deadly Assassin kills, not Executioner kills
- Cloak kills with weapons that break cloak now count towards medal for Cloak levels 1 and 2.
- Global - Medic’s Triage droids now disappear when player quits out of game
- Cloak/Disguise cannot be removed manually by accident anymore
- Fix for rumble in Exo being over-powered and out of sync
- Fix for Silent Footsteps remaining active after choosing other skill and removed from the personal stats menu
- Exploit - Akmir Snowdrift - Player can reach the boat by using an ammo box to exit the intended boundaries
Functionality
- Disc eject now handled more gracefully
- Clan– Fix for player quitting and re-joining a tournament, they may re-enter a tournament alone
Trophies
- DLC 1 ‘Little Big Weapons’ Trophy does now counts rocket launcher and StA2
Menu
- Find game – Operations - Mode description - Spelling issue fixed
- Friends: Fix for Clan tags being displayed for a max of nine players despite the number of player that are in the clan
- Fix for incorrect message given when attempting to join a Clan Game that an online friend is taking place in
- Spawn-screen – Fix for when the extra Primary Weapon skill is equipped, the weapon description goes out of sync
- Accolades do now show subsequently
- When receiving a squad invite from a player in another match, there is now a warning that the player will leave his current game.
- Scramble detailed range and in-game range now match properly
- The Spot and Mark description in the unlock menu is now correct
- Fix for when the player presses the SQUARE button when a player that is in their game is highlighted in the squad lobby menu they receive the message ‘You cannot join a play that is not in a game.’
- Turn off animations for the squad list to avoid it becoming unreadable every time a rebuild occurs when voice chat is activated
- Fix for when trying to join a friend without the required DLC pack, the message will tell the player they are part of a squad.
- Fix for the message informing the player they are attempting to join a DLC game without the required DLC content installed reading better
- Increased Accuracy & Faster Reload Ribbons now update in the personal statistics screen.
Additional to this, we are performing regular and significant Server updates to help with connection issues such as the -9 Error (fix deployed Thursday 3rd of March) as well as improving performance and lag.
We have already begun work on further patches to include additional gameplay improvements, feature upgrades and a variety of bug fixes. If you are experiencing any problems with Killzone 3 please check out our FAQ or hit the forums where we will be on hand to answer any of your questions.

Cool! Sounds great guys. So will this fix connectivity issues for most people getting online? I've still not managed it since getting the game as keep getting error codes. Although I did get on for 2mins 30, just enough time to take a spawn point before the error set in. Looking forward to playing the online, my mates are on and say its great but theyre not getting the error codes. Keep up the great work!

I look forward to this 1.04 patch, looks like it will fix a majority of the issues I've seen happen in the past week.
Owning two PS3's, I had to buy 2 copies of KZ3...so not only am I seeing these problems, my wife also sees them when she's trying to play. We both play it at the same time, so we both get a taste of the errors, and it's been a little frustrating at times. Glad to see it's being worked on, truly I was hoping the patch to fix these major problems would be out before the 3.5.11 / 3.6.11 weekend, but it's understandable that this is a pretty large undertaking.

Nice patch there GG.
Now what we really could do with in a future patch is.................
Squad leader spawning, just like Killzone 2.
Being able to see what other classes people in your squad are playing as, just like Killzone 2.
An icon on screen that tells you where a medic is when your mortally injured, just like Killzone 2.

Do you guys know what's causing so bad framerate issues for some users as some others are clearly stating they have solit 30fps.
In all MP games (mostly warzone) i play i have a choppy experience. 25-30 frames per second.
i would also like to have a smooth feeling online
I also had this problem during the open beta, I did file a report but i dont know if it's still being looked at.
is it possible my playstations under preform? I got 2 with same issue on both. I dont understand how some other people dont se the bad framerate as i do. Other uses have also been reporting bad framerate, not just I. sorry but this bothers me alot

God hears you...o even better, guerrilla developers hears you.
And is also absolutely necessary to have customizable matches like in KZ2.
It’s crazy to get into 12v12 matches were everybody care about their K/D ratio, and they don’t try to complete the missions. Is not possible to play seriously in 90% of matches with 12vs12, where each faction has 5 snipers camping from the Base.
I understand that guerrilla wants to improve the game with new soldiers options, with OPERATIONS (great idea, great matches, but should be ready for all maps), guns, new respawn mode (for me is better the smoke grenade). But what i can’t understand how they can take away the best option or any online game ever made...the CUSTOMIZABLE MATCHES!!
I read form Guerrilla developers that the new respawn system was created to avoid camping smoke grenades...they success there’s no campers with smoke grenades, there are campers in the new respawn zones.
A good tactician in KZ2 could give your faction the victory. A good tactician in KZ3 can’t do anything...but improve his K/D ratio...and run even more than running a marathon.
Martin Luther King would say, I have a Dream...that KZ3 improves KZ2...but that dream has not yet fulfilled
